PINK 2010: 3rd Annual Fundraiser benefiting SWBCA and Cancer Support Community of North Texas

Join us this Saturday October 16, 2010 from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. as Rising Gallery hosts PINK 2010, the 3rd annual fundraiser event benefiting Sharon Wetz Breast Cancer Fund and Cancer Support Community of North Texas. PINK 2010 will feature a silent auction of artwork in the central gallery space, and a runway fashion show of garments created by students enrolled in El Centro College's fashion program. Suggested minimum donation is $20 at the door.

TOGETHER, OUR COLLECTIVE GIFTS ARE SO MUCH MORE POWERFUL THAN OUR GIFTS ALONE.

Donations made during PINK 2010 will benefit the Sharon Wetz Breast Cancer Fund which is dedicated to assisting families living with the difficulties that come with a diagnosis of breast cancer, as well as the Cancer Support Community of North Texas which offers emotional and social support services to cancer patients and their families.

We are thankful to the dozens of artists who have generously donated artwork to the silent auction portion of the event. Artists participating include: Ben Pierce, Benjamin Purvis, Bonny Leibowitz, Carol Ordemann, Cathey Miller, Chris Panatier, Chris Usher, Dahlia Woods, Debbie Klein, Elizabeth Catlin Young, Jenna Young, Frankie Garcia III, Gina Dunn, Greta Gundersen, Jennifer Moreman, Jim Hastings, Kathleen Wilke, Kay Dalton, Laura Elia, Lloyd Lowe Jr, Michael Lyon, Michelle de Metz, Pinky Diablo, Renee Vandevere, Simon Waranch, Yolanda Smith, and more.

Special thanks to the Dahlia Woods Gallery who donated several artworks from their talented roster of artists, and to the fashion students at El Centro College. Special thanks as well to our event sponsors: A+C Magazine, Bryan Wetz Interiors, Dahlia Woods Gallery, FGIII Art, Lure Salon, McKane Consulting, Meddlesome Moth, ModernDallas.net, Osgood-O'Neil Salon, RSC Show Productions, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company.

10% of every gallery sale transacted during the month of October will be donated by Rising Gallery to SWBCF to aid their mission of helping families of patients diagnosed with breast cancer.
